Autism and Neurodiversity Celebration Week

Longhorn TIES is proud to celebrate our neurodivergent students, faculty, and staff at The University of Texas at Austin. Join us April 15-19, 2024 as we collaborate with various campus partners to host a week full of social events, giveaways, community-building activities, and more to celebrate neurodivergent Longhorns. 

Neurodivergent Alumni Network

Neurodivergent alumni? Join the Neurodivergent Alumni Network! This network is meant to connect neurodivergent Longhorn alumni with each other and with the current campus community. You do not need to have accessed TIES coaching services to join the alumni network.

TIES and DCC Study Hall

April 4, 2024

Time: 2-4 p.m.

Location: SSB 3.200

Hosted by the Disability Cultural Center and Longhorn TIES Neurodiversity Support, these come-and-go study halls provide a space for students to study or body double (work productively in the company of others). Join us for snacks, company, and an opportunity to make progress on your to-do list!

#NDatUT: Creative Connections

April 9, 2024 

Time: 4 - 5 p.m. 

Location: Main Mall (Look for yellow picnic blanket) 

Creative Connections invites neurodivergent students to connect through guided questions while crafting with yarn and Legos. Join us for a supportive and welcoming gathering where participants can connect, create, and grow together. Don't miss this opportunity for self-expression and community building!

Students on the Spectrum

April 11, 2024 

Time: 5:30-7 p.m. 

Location: DCCE Commons (SSB 3.200)

Students on the Spectrum is a monthly social for all undergraduate and graduate students who identify as autistic (no diagnosis required). These come-and-go socials feature games, crafts, and opportunities for discussion. Students on the Spectrum is hosted by the Disability Cultural Center and Longhorn TIES Neurodiversity Support. RSVP requested, not required

Neurodiversity Mixer

Thursday, April 18

Time: 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Location: Union Quadrangle

Join us for the capstone celebration to Autism and Neurodiversity Celebration Week! This come-and-go social event will feature food, games, fidgets, neurodiversity giveaways, and more! Neurodivergent students, faculty, staff, and allies are welcome. This event is brought to you in collaboration with Living the Longhorn Life
